Mientras espero a que esté disponible el kobo, veo que otra opción aparece que merece tener en cuenta. Viene de un proyecto de indiegogo que se llama RockTheInk, y busca financiación para ofrecer un ebook abierto, una placa que permitirá la instalación de linux o android, compatibilidad con paneles e-ink de pvi de distintas resoluciones, y muy buenas prestaciones. Lo mejor: que liberará diagrama del circuito, código fuente y ejemplos.
